RARE 1880s Brass Repoussé Wall Plaque, Signed Raphaël “Au Corps de Garde,” Antique Victorian French Wall Art, France. Measures Width: 9 inches Height: 7 inches This depicts a guardroom scene, titled Au Corps de Garde (“On Guard”). Made in France and signed Raphaël, it belongs to a collectible series of late Victorian repoussé plates. The design shows guards in elaborate Renaissance dress gathered in a medieval interior, crafted in high relief with excellent detail. Great antique condition with age patina, minimal wear considering its age. It retains Lower Lonsdale pickup. Cash only
