Job Description:
• Supervise workers and projects in stone installation and fabrication on-site
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Perform stonemason duties such as: Install and lay bricks, tiles, stone, and other masonry units.
• Cut, trim, polish, and measure bricks and stone
• Train workers in stonemason duties
• Set up machines and equipment for stone installation and fabrication on-site
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at the worksite
• Requisition, order, or fabricate materials, equipment and supplies
• Knowledge of installation of ALL masonry materials (ie: brick, block, stone, etc.) using mortar method
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in masonry/stonecutting
• Must have experience working with limestone, marble, granite and various other rough stones
• Completion of High School
• Language in the workplace is English
