Experienced Carpenter Apprentice (Level 4) OR Skilled Carpenter – Custom Homes & Renovations
TQ Construction Ltd. is an award-winning design-build company specializing in custom homes, major renovations, and additions throughout Greater Vancouver.
TQ Construction is looking for an experienced Skilled Carpenter or Senior Carpenter Apprentice (Level 3 or 4) who wants more than repetitive production work. You'll work alongside experienced carpenters on award-winning custom homes and complex renovations where quality craftsmanship matters, and every project teaches you something new.
We're looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career in residential construction — not just another job. You'll work alongside experienced Red Seal carpenters, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, and Designers while gaining experience on challenging projects that will strengthen your skills.
Compensation: $28 – $36 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and apprenticeship level.
What you'll work on
• High-end residential renovations
• Custom homes
• Major additions
• Structural renovations
• Fine finishing work
• Projects from demolition through final finishing
Your Day Could Include
• Framing, structural carpentry and layout
• Installing windows, doors and exterior finishes
• Interior finishing and trim carpentry
• Working alongside experienced Site Supervisors
• Reading construction drawings and assisting with layout
• Maintaining a clean, safe job site
We're Looking for Someone Who
• Is currently a Level 3 or 4 Carpenter Apprentice
• Has approximately 4 – 6+ years of residential carpentry experience
• Has experience with framing, structural work and finishing carpentry
• Takes pride in producing quality work
• Shows up on time and communicates well
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Holds a valid driver's license and has reliable transportation
• Is legally eligible to work in Canada
