Benchmark Architectural Woodworking is looking for an Estimator to join our team. Room for growth/advancement for motivated individuals.
Job overview: Take-offs, quote submittals, customer relationships and client outreach for Millwork projects
Responsibilities and duties:
• Downloading of new projects to bid
• Reading and reviewing architectural drawings and specifications
• Takeoffs and quantity procurement
• Sourcing and pricing of materials
• Quote preparation and reviews
• Submittal of quotes, revisions and change orders
Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Read and interperet architectural drawings and specifications
• Familiar with AWMAC standards (asset)
• Knowledge of basic cabinetry (cabinet maker certification is an asset)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
• Extended health benefits package
• Regular Monday to Friday hours 6:30am-3:00pm)
• Full time employment
• Training will be provided for this role
