In search of a production assembly worker for a tech product. This person will read a set of instructions that come with drawings (these are drawings made by an engineer), and follow the procedure.

During their first four weeks their functions will be shadowed and they'll be shown what to do. After that, they'll be expected to do the work independently. Each person will be doing a different part of the assembly/treating of the tech product. All of the work is checked by a QC inspector. Most of the work will be repetitive in nature but will still require that the candidates have a very keen eye for detail. Quality is valued more than quantity.
The candidate will be using different types of hand tools to assemble the tech product together. They pick the different parts needed from the warehouse, read the instructions and assemble them together.
The right candidate has the below experience:
-6+ months experience Technical/ High Production
- Great attitude
-ability to perform a task repetitively
-high attention to detail
-high level of initiative
-Steel toe shoes
-ability to work a rotational shift (days and afternoons are on a 2 week rotational schedule)
*(Overseas engineering background is very appealing to the client)*
The job site location is in South Burnaby.
2 weeks AM: 6:30am-3pm - $16
2 weeks PM: 2:45pm-11:00pm - $16.50
6 month contract with potential to go long term once complete.
