CN Architectural Millwork is looking for a painter helper to join our team!
Must have experience on mixing stain, painting and lacquering.
Cabinetmaker experience is an asset.
Key Objectives and Responsibilities:
-Prepare, clean, sand and prep surfaces to be painted
- Able to prepare MDF for staining or painting
- Able to sand, prime, use putty touch-ups and spray custom finishes for final assembly
-Prepared cabinet parts for painting by performing minor repairs to wood and related materials using various hand, power tools and machines.
- Safety trained in hazardous materials and use of various respirators.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure quality workmanship.
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
The ideal candidate must be reliable, work efficiently, be highly organized, a team player and work well under pressure to adhere to product deadlines.
Requirements:
• Must have 2+ years millwork experience
• Valid drivers license
Skills:
- Must have experience in cabinets painting.
- Proficiency in using air tools, power tools, hand tools, and paint machines for painting tasks.
- Proficiency in operating paint mixers and paint guns.
-Ability to analyze, resolve problems and make independent decisions.
