Beautiful, heavy dining table with incredible craftsmanship. The base features ornate hand-carved detailing with a large double pedestal design and decorative scrollwork throughout. The tabletop has a classic scalloped edge that gives it an elegant, traditional look.
Originally finished in white with gold leaf, the table was professionally repainted about ten years ago by House of Chippendales in an antique champagne / brushed gold tone.
The table is extremely sturdy and was originally a custom piece that cost thousands to produce.
It also comes with two extra leafs, allowing the table to extend and become extra long, making it perfect for large dinners and gatherings.
Condition: Overall good. There are a couple of heat stains on the top, but the table would look absolutely magnificent if someone chose to repaint or refinish it.
I would hate to throw this beautiful piece away — hoping it goes to someone who appreciates unique furniture and craftsmanship. Comes with matching fireplace which is also listed.
