Metalbestos chimney pipe, now also known as "Metal Best Chimney", by Selkirk is a Type A-Vent. The coupling system easily Twist-Locks together.
Below is a list of 8” Model SS, Chimney new old stock, left over from a completed project. It has been heavily discounted for a quick sale.
All below descriptions are for 8” pipe:
• Two pieces of 8S-30. 30” long double wall stainless pipe with 1" Insulation. See photos beginning with the number 1. $135USD or $180CAD per piece.
• Round Chimney Top 8S-CT. See photos beginning with the number 2. $135USD or $180CAD.
• Finish Support Bracket 8S-FSP. See photos beginning with the number 3. $120USD or $160CAD.
• Storm Flashing 8S-SF aluminum. Adjustable for roof pitch between 2/12 - 6/12. See photos beginning with the number 4. $100USD or $140CAD.
• Storm Collar 8S-SC aluminum. See photos beginning with the number 5. $20USD or $30CAD.
For those concerned about compatibility between the older "SS" or "SS-II" and the newer "UT" product, I have provided the following Metalbestos Company response and web link from which it was obtained:

No adapter is needed since we never changed the coupling design. The testing through Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. changed to include an optional high temperature test. At that time the model designation was changed, but not the product. A few years ago we once again changed the model designation (to the Model UT you reference) but not the basics of the product. There is still the twist lock coupler with the separate locking band, the required 2" air space clearance, etc. so you'll not have any problems getting the pieces to connect.
