The Good:
• Transmission: Just professionally serviced at Nixon Automotive (Burnaby) in August 2025. It had a new gear selector valve, sealing sleeve, filter, and fresh fluid installed
• Engine: N52 3.0L inline-six starts and runs strong.
• Interior/Exterior: Clean white exterior, leather interior in good shape.
• Documentation: I have the full itemized invoice from Nixon Automotive for the recent work.
• Coolant Contamination: I accidentally added engine oil into the coolant reservoir and ran it for 30 minutes. It needs a professional degreasing flush before it can be driven regularly.
• Suspension: The car was recently inspected and needs front struts, thrust arm bushings, and sway bar links to be 100% road-worthy.
Summary:
This is a great project car for a mechanic or a BMW enthusiast. The transmission—usually the most expensive part to fix—is already done and under warranty. If you can do the coolant flush and suspension work yourself, you’ll have a solid X3 for a fraction of the market price.
Location: New Westminster.
Price is OBO. No lowballers, please—the transmission parts alone are worth the asking price.
