Phaff is top of the line and this one is the earlier version with much better build quality it is fast strong and it is a beast comparing to later versions out there.
The tension nob is very solid as you can see ,very easy to use and very precise . its very simple machine with straight and zig zag so the internal build is very straight-ward and much more reliable than computerized machines .
Pls note the The thread holder on top is repaird as shown but you can take it out with two screws and buy a thread holder really cheap
The machine is in good cosmetic condition .its a solid piece of aluminum body so not heavy but extremely stable .
the sound of the machine is top notch sounds like thousand dollar heavy duty industrial machines out there but very compact
The side motor disengaging nob no longer work because the plastic ring connected to the motor is disintegrated but its extra feature for the machine so it doesn’t affect anything
light bulb is upgraded to new LED
