This vintage rare shell nautilus lamp works as well as the day it was issued. The lamp is a creation of Maurice Chalvignac, the pre-eminent ceramic artist of the 1970s and 1980s. The lamp was hand painted and can be recognized by its mix of colours and glazing technique. If you research the artist, you will immediately recognize the uniqueness of his creations. Lamp is in excellent plus condition – no scratches or chips and no fading of colors or glaze. Cord with switch is original and still works well. Please see the pictures of light ON – 15 W bulb comes with lamp. Asking $75 for this rare antique in outstanding condition.
