At BACI Payroll and Benefits Administrators participate in the creation and contribution to a society that includes all people by supporting the operations of the agency in an inclusive workplace. This position serves as back-up to payroll administrators to ensure consistent and accurate payroll.
Position: Temporary Full-Time Payroll and Benefits Administrator – from June 1st until Aug 30th.

Salary: Grid 12 Step 1: $22.02 Step 2: $23.10 Step 3: $24.36 Step 4: $25.65
Hours: Set between the hours of 8:30-4:30 - may require some flexibility in schedule.

Graduation from a University or Community College with an appropriate degree, or certificate in Payroll/Benefits Administration. An equivalent of education and experience may be considered. TB Screening, Tetanus/Diphtheria Immunization, First Aid, Criminal Record Check. Proficient knowledge in Payroll Procedures including: Knowledge of payroll principles, practices, regulations and procedures, software – ADP Pay at Work and Payworks, Workforce Now. Knowledge of payroll, benefits and pension record keeping and reporting requirements and procedures.
Skill in both verbal and written communication, as well as judgment and problem solving skills and the ability to prepare and analyze reports with attention to detail. Skill in performing detailed computations. ie. Stat’s Canada reporting, WCB Reporting, Ad hoc reporting using Excel and ICBC Reporting. Software Skills to: maintain records, both physical and on spreadsheets, write queries, and prepare reports.
