At Global Agents for Change we believe that no dream is too big and nothing is impossible, that inspired and motivated young people can truly change the world.
Global Agents for Change (Global AFC) was founded in January of 2007 by a group of young professionals, university students and social change agents from Vancouver, Canada. Entirely youth-run, we empower young leaders and social change agents through innovative projects, mentorship, education, outreach and events. The organization is growing rapidly and counts multiple major programs as well as over 100 volunteers around the world.

The Editorial Committee is looking for a strategic planner for the Catalyst Magazine. As a part of this Committee, you would work with the group that is responsible for the writing, editorial direction and marketing of The Catalyst Magazine.

As the strategic planner for the Catalyst, you would:

- Volunteer a minimum of 15-20 hours per month
- Commit to a minimum of 8 months with Global AFC
- Develop a strategy to expand readership of the Catalyst
- Research advertising potentials
- Assist with research and planning, development, and outreach work.
- Attend monthly Editorial Committee meetings
- Report directly to the Managing Editor

Qualifications:

- Background in marketing and/or publishing
- Team player
- Interest in issues surrounding social change


Start date – as soon as possible.
