This is a volunteer opportunity for youth (age 15- 19) who love music and kids to spend this week helping to facilitate a Jam Camp, in a beautiful setting on the edge of Jericho Park.
In exchange for helping with child minding, youth will have the opportunity to participate in workshops ranging from voice, instruments and rhythm.
Daily Cultural Workshops will introduce different musical cultures including Flamenco, African, Bluegrass, Indian, and 'Classical' music. There will be small-group and 1-on-1 workshops.
They will also receive some instruction for specific instruments, voice techniques, and harmony will give participants the opportunity to develop their skills and love of music.
