My client, a successful and dynamic Direct Marketing Company based in North Vancouver is currently seeking a qualified Direct Response Marketing Manager with a strong focus on "the bottom line". The ideal candidate will lead their marketing team, while bringing a lively mix of personality, solid professional experience and marketing savvy to the position. My client is seeking a marketing generalist with a strong level of expertise in strategizing and managing online and Direct Marketing programs. Must be comfortable providing strong leadership and direction within an entrepreneurial setting. The successful candidate will be creative, yet highly analytical with proven experience in managing results driven campaigns. Experience with B2C brands across a variety of integrated media platforms including is needed, such as web, e-mail, print, DRTV and PR. The ability to control media buying processes and campaign planning, implementation and evaluation is highly advantageous.



Qualifications include : five years experience with the planning and managing of entire marketing campaigns via magazines, list rentals, and credit card insertion programs, coop insertions; package inserts programs, direct mail, FSI and DRTV. The ideal candidate will possess , email marketing, e-commerce search engine and back-end sales, experience with an emphasis on up selling programs, membership retention, customer purchase history and customer loyalty programs.



Main Responsibilities:



o Create business and/or campaign plan to suggest new sources of revenue

o Ability to source products suitable for direct response channels

o Plan, Manage and supervise campaigns via (DRTV, The shopping network, Direct Mail, List Mailing, credit card inserts program, print campaigns and/or internet)

o Analyze campaign results using industry standard metrics

o Plan and manage campaigns utilizing in house customer data base

o Establish quarterly marketing budgets, budget break down and campaign cost break-down

o Plan and implement revenue enhancement programs

o Review inbound scripts and make necessary modifications

o Coordinate and approve all creative and collateral with graphic agency

o Regular coordination with Customer Service Supervisor and fulfillment

o Plan and manage test campaigns before a roll out

o Manage the membership acquisition and retention program

o working closely with internet staff to improve ecommerce sales. This includes (providing ideas, content, approving design and so forth)







Advanced knowledge of web and emarketing is required; as is experience leveraging emetics and campaign results, and marketing research, to drive the decision making process. Must be a hands-on team player comfortable with asserting a lead and in convincing others of your direction.



Skilled in art direction and copywriting/editing, the Direct Response Marketing Manager will drive the creative towards concepts that get results, in addition to managing internal staff, vendors, agencies and other suppliers. This position pays $60,000 - $80,000 Depending on experience, with bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.
